Dr. Micquel Boyd spearheads the Science & Technology Programme of Youth Fields of Hope, an international community dedicated to preparing young people for the future through engaging, team-based research programmes that cultivate leadership, innovation, and global impact. Since joining the Youth Executive team in 2024, Dr. Boyd has brought dynamic leadership, a rich academic background, and a deep-seated passion for youth empowerment. Now a medical doctor, he has successfully fulfilled his long-held dream of entering the field of medicine—an aspiration rooted in his early academic excellence, especially in the sciences and biology.

As Programme Leader, Dr. Boyd champions the global expansion of the Science & Technology initiative, guiding strategic planning and team development to ensure its relevance, inclusivity, and success. His long-term mission remains steadfast: to use his medical knowledge to serve marginalized and underserved communities, bringing healing, hope, and sustainable change.
Anchored in his Christian faith, Dr. Boyd lives by the verse, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," and draws daily inspiration from the quote, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." These guiding principles fuel his commitment to selfless service, compassion, and impactful leadership—both in medicine and beyond.
